How much does it cost my customers to text in to CommentBox?

It costs their standard network charge for text messages, which is 10-12p. Close

Is there a cost every time I receive a comment by email?

No, you can receive as many comments as you like and there's no charge. Close

CommentBox sends a confirmation text to every customer when they text in a comment. How much do these texts cost me?

Nothing. All automatic texts sent to your customers are sent for free (and received for free by your customers). Close

Receiving comments and contacting customers

How complicated is it to integrate CommentBox technically?

The CommentBox service is ready-to-go. There is no integration and your technical team don't have to lift a finger. You don't have to install any new software or buy new hardware. If you want it to be, CommentBox can be up and running for your business in less than half an hour. Close

If my customers are texting their comments in, how do I receive them?

All texted comments are automatically transferred into email format and sent to your registered email address. Close

Can I receive comments direct to my mobile phone?

Comments can be sent to your mobile if you’ve got email on your phone. Close

How do I contact a customer about their feedback?

You only receive a customer's mobile number if they have stated they specifically want to be contacted. CommentBox lets customers express their opinion and they don't necessarily want to speak to someone about that opinion. Close

How do I tell my customers that I'm using CommentBox?

We'll give you free promotional material to display to your customers. If you want to create your own, we'll provide you with design templates and guidelines on what key information you need to include. Close

Privacy and security

Are my customers' mobile numbers stored by CommentBox?

If a customer has asked to be contacted about their feedback and their mobile number has been passed on to you, then CommentBox also stores their mobile number, to allow you to do that. If they have not asked to be contacted and their number hasn't been passed on to you, then CommentBox stores their number so that any future comments from the same customer can be linked. All numbers are stored on a 128-bit encrypted server and are never used for anything other than the above. Close

Can I use the mobile numbers of my customers for future promotion?

No. CommentBox is not designed to collect mobile numbers for this purpose and the consent required from customers is not built into the system. Close
